It’s been about a month since my last update on Intermittent Fasting progress. Weight loss is very slow in this past month, almost at a stall. I am still at 114 this morning. I start to realize it’s not as easy as I thought. Initially I thought losing 10 lbs in 3 months seemed achievable. But based on the current weight loss rate, it’s not going to happen. But still, I feel better than before, and my body does look slimmer.
So I was asked how does my typical IF day look like? Here is my schedule and what I ate yesterday
9 AM: 1 tbsp Manuka Honey and 1 TBSP lemon juice + 1 glass Warm water 73 Calories
11 AM: Brunch 500 Calories
Coffee with 2 tbsp Almond Milk Creamer
Avocado organic whole wheat toasts + one fried egg
This is super easy to make, but if you need recipe please let me know. I also like to mention this potato masher is really great for mashing avocados, especially when the avocados are still a little bit hard.
3 PM Snack: Dark Chocolate Nuts & Sea Salt Bar – Minis 100 Calories
5:30 PM Dinner: Thai Chicken Salad from Trader Joe’s. 500 Calories
I also drink about 6 – 8 glasses of water through out the day.
Total Calories: 1173
On Sundays, I tried to stretch my fasting window to 22 hours. To get through such long hour of fasting is not easy at first, but I slowly get used to it. I found the key is to keep myself busy so I don’t think about food. Of course I won’t calories that day at all 🙂
So what’s next? I really want to keep going. I am looking to make this a healthy lifestyle, not a short term diet. So even though I am losing much weight in this past month, I am not discouraged at all. There’s room for improvement, to be honest. It’s going to be interesting though because I am going to be on vacation for 2 weeks in April. Do you think I can do this during vacation? Lol, we shall see!
Have a great weekend, peeps! Once again, thanks for reading!
xoxo
