Holiday Party Outfits 1 – Red Tartan Plaid Dress
Red tartan is always associated with Christmas and holiday. This red tartan dress I am wearing is perfect for Christmas, won’t you agree? Since we are going to spend Christmas in sunny Florida, It is already packed in my suitcase! I love the weave of the fabric, very light and airy with asymmetrical shoulders. It’s a traditional festive dress with a beautiful modern twist. The silhouette of this dress is loose fitting but with elastic waist also very forgiving. I paired a pair of red slingback with it.

This beautiful dress is unfortunately sold out, but I have picked some similar styles for your consideration if you are looking for a similar one.

If you are not sure about how to wear red, please read this article I posted. I personally think wearing red really lightens up my mood and it’s my go to color when it comes to holiday.
Holiday Party Outfits 2 – Sequins

It’s not holiday without some sparkle. I paired this fun festive sequins wide leg pants with a black velvet camisole to balance the color. I layer it under a velvet blazer to keep me warm in the chilly night when I am out about the town in the night. This could be worn on New Year’s Eve or Christmas Eve. The pants I am wearing is almost sold out, but this pair, this pair is just as beautiful if not more beautiful.

Holiday Party Outfits 3 – casually dressy

Lace top and Jeans. I wore this outfit to a casual holiday gathering. It’s a perfect mix of casual and festive without feeling too rigid and uncomfortable. Again, this similar style is going very fast. If you are going to a more formal party, swap this outfit with a lace dress like this. Sexy and elegant!
Holiday Party Outfits 4 – For Busy Hostess
If you are hosting a party, I have 2 outfit ideas for you. Festive cotton top and comfortable bottom is the way to go. You want to wear something that’s breathable as you will be busy cooking or entertaining the guests. This light weight turtleneck with festive bow prints is perfect for this purpose. As a matter of fact, I actually bought another one in color black!

Finally, for northeasters, the below outfit is for you! This is probably my favorite look for the holiday parties. Cashmere adds a touch of luxury for this holiday season, but the plaid pants subtly elevates the look to elegant and festive.

Final Thought
Luxury textures, such as velvet, silk, lace, sequins, cashmere, are great to add an extra touch of glam in this holiday season.
Styles: puff sleeves, one shoulder or cold shoulders are still trending strong. Jumpsuit or pant suit might worth trying as well.
Color: I am obsessed with earthy tone dresses, which in my eyes are the most chic! Green, especially dark green color with a little sheen is so luxurious and elegant.
Some looks that I have worn in the past …..
